Kahla and Colby’s wedding was a dream. 😍From the warm beach breeze to the spectacular view from the Grand Plaza, this wedding was one for the history books! I first met Kahla when she reached out to me several months ago, and we IMMEDIATELY clicked! She was sweet, funny, and loved Jesus. ❤️ As the months went by we got to know each other better as we prepared for the biggest day in their lives! Before you knew it, October 13th had arrived and it was GO time! 🙌 Me and my team got to St. Pete in the early afternoon and spent some time with the bridal party as they got ready for the ceremony. Hair was curled, lipstick applied, and flower crowns were pinned as the girls giggled and visited in the Grand Plaza penthouse. Next came Kahla’s tearful first look with her Dad and brother, and then Colby was carefully blindfolded and led into the penthouse to enjoy a few moments of hearing his bride’s voice. 😭 Then it was time for the ceremony to begin! The ocean breeze blew through the guests as Kahla and Colby exchanged vows, rings, and promises to remain true to one another. 🙏🏻 Then Colby got to kiss his WIFE and they were MARRIED! 🕺 We spent some time strolling along the coast, taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful view. ☀️ Then we headed up to the Presidential Ballroom to party! 🎉 The view from the top was amazing as the West side of the room was made up of glass windows, allowing you to feel very at one with the water below. 🌊 Dinner was served, speeches were made, and the love birds danced and swayed to songs sung by their family members. 🎶 The sun set over the horizon as the guests danced and laughed and enjoyed the freshly cut cake (I may or may not have grabbed a piece 😂 🍰). A couple of traditional greek dances paid tribute to Kahla’s heritage, and then it was time to grab sparklers and head outside! ✨ Another beautiful wedding for the books.😊
This wedding could not have been pulled off without an amazing team! Lauren Edwards did the hair and makeup, 2 Birds Events provided the lovely florals, the cake was designed by Cakes by Carolynn, Kahla’s dress was from Enzoani, and the Bridemaid’s dressed were from Lulus. Heath Watson officiated the ceremony and Luke Entertainment kept the party rocking! The Grand Plaza in St. Pete was our stunning venue, and Rob Crosby was my amazing second shooter! Thanks everyone for all the hard work!
And now, please enjoy the pictures from Kahla and Colby’s wedding!
